Activest joins HomeLand, a Miami project supporting Israeli artists
At Activest, our purpose is to empower families, build legacies and impact lives. In practice, we aim to take an active part in community events that seek to create a positive impact. For example, Activest joins HomeLand a Miami project supporting Israeli artists during challenging times.
Why Activest joins HomeLand a Miami project supporting Israeli artists
Art curator Michelle Azout of MA Art Advisory invited us to be part of this initiative. We accepted with gratitude. Above all, the invitation reflected the kind of partnership we value most: people who care deeply about their community and want to act on that care.
Artists often carry a community’s memory and hope. In difficult periods, however, their work can become harder to create, share and sustain. Creative work takes courage, especially when circumstances feel uncertain. As a result, platforms that connect artists with new audiences matter more than ever. HomeLand offers that kind of platform, and we wanted to stand beside it.
Our decision also connects directly to our purpose. First, we want to empower families, and families draw strength from the cultural life around them. Next, we want to build legacies, and art is one of the most lasting legacies any community can leave. Finally, we want to impact lives, which means showing up in person rather than simply watching from a distance.
How the event came together
HomeLand took place on Thursday, November 14, Friday, November 15, and Sunday, November 17, in Little River, Miami. For security reasons, the organizers required registration to receive the venue details.
The schedule spread the event across three days. In other words, guests had several chances to attend and could fit a visit into their week. They could also take their time with the work instead of rushing through it.
Of course, the registration step asked a little more of each guest. In practice, it helped the organizers welcome visitors with care and keep everyone’s attention on the art itself.
What community commitment means to us
For Activest, community involvement is not a side project. Instead, it sits close to the heart of how we think about our work. Our clients trust us with decisions that shape their families’ futures. Therefore, we believe we should also invest time and attention in the places where those families live.
Supporting cultural projects is one way to do that. For instance, an exhibition can bring together neighbors who might never meet otherwise. Meanwhile, it gives artists the encouragement to keep creating. Most importantly, it reminds everyone that a strong community depends on many people contributing in their own way.
That is the spirit in which Activest joins HomeLand a Miami project supporting Israeli artists. We see our role as simple: to listen, to learn and to help more people discover the work. In addition, we hope our participation encourages other local businesses to consider how they can support the arts in their own communities.
Looking ahead
We are grateful to Michelle Azout and MA Art Advisory for the invitation. We also thank the organizers, the artists and every guest who took the time to register and attend. Fortunately, events like this show how much good can happen when people choose to gather around a shared purpose.
Going forward, we will keep looking for opportunities to take an active part in initiatives that create a positive impact. In the meantime, we encourage our community to seek out local artists and attend exhibitions. Above all, we invite you to support the creative voices around you. After all, empowering families, building legacies and impacting lives often begins close to home.
